These shoes are cute visually, however, the plastic ankle laces just do not work for any heel support. No matter how tight I tie them, the placement of the plastic laces (not close enough to the heel) leaves my shoes flopping up and down when walking. I now realize that these shoes are only made for sitting, posing, or standing while looking cute in a photo...don't wear them dancing or anywhere that involves anything more than minimal walking around (if you're even successful at that). Is it because the BLOCK heel is just too heavy for this design?? I have similar ones that are designer shoes and there is reinforcement near the heal and now I know why. Oh and I'm pretty sure you won't be able to drive in them either so prepare to change into your shoes once you arrive at your destination...
I only read the fine print after purchasing and I am unable to return these shoes because I purchased them on sale (Black Friday, I believe). It's disappointing that larger shoes cost as much as designer shoes & are not designed on the same level. I would love to see a full video of someone wearing these shoes while dancing or walking down the street. Maybe there should be a tutorial with recommendations on how to successfully tie them? For now, they'll remain in the box, be donated to charity or resold on eBay.
